TVBEurope, Installation Europe’s sister title, has announced that Andrew Ioannou – director of strategy, technology, platforms & business delivery at ITV – will deliver a keynote address at its Fast Turnaround TV conference, 13 March, on adding value to pressurised high-profile TV productions – which will include a review of The X Factor Final 2011.

ITV is the UK’s largest advertising-funded broadcaster, producing more hours of network television than any other UK commercial station and employing more than 4,000 staff across its broadcasting sector.

Ioannou will provide an insight into major high-profile live/as-live ITV productions - such as The X Factor Final - examining the strategic planning and development for technologies and workflows behind them.

Additionally, the speech will explore ITV’s integrated strategy for meeting business, operational and technical needs across a variety of business units and platforms, which include .com, broadcast playout, content acquisition, processing management and delivery and rights and scheduling.

Last month, TVBEurope announced that John Ive would chair the event.
