Visitors to AWE’s stands on D8 and D10 are able to witness the first European showing of Panasonic’s 103-inch 3D screen. Part of the popular CHT (Custom Home Theatre) series, the prototype offers full HD 3D images with ultra high-speed drive technology.
Alongside this, AWE is also showing Panasonic’s 85-inch screen plus a preview of the Viera 65-inch 3D TV.
The CEDIA Show Floor Seminar theatre is also proving a popular destination for those interested in 3D TV. 3D Tech Brief seminars have run every morning, with further sessions on BBC HD and 3D TV and BSkyB – the Roadmap for 3D.
Taking place at a time when 3D and HD implementation are the buzz of the broadcast industry, the sessions presented by BBC HD executive producer Ian Potts and Sky 3D product development manager John Dollin brought in the crowds.
Elsewhere on the show floor, CEDIA is featuring a 3D home cinema system in partnership with AWE, CSE Custom, Digital Projection and Pulse Marketing.
Get along to stand C3a for a free copy of the Electrical Contractors’ Association’s guide “An Introduction to 3D Audiovisual Systems.” The guide is usually only available to ECA members, but CEDIA Event visitors can also grab a copy.
