The invitation-only one-day event at Dubai’s DUCTAC theatre attracted more than 40 attendees from throughout the region with an active involvement in the installed sound market.
Organised by Tannoy Middle East with support from Lab.gruppen, Lake and Biamp Systems, the event gave visitors an opportunity to discover the latest product innovations from TC Group brands and Biamp Systems.
Specific products under the spotlight included Tannoy’s new VX Series and VXP Series; the Lab.gruppen PLM, FP+ and C Series amplifiers; and the Lake LM 26 standalone DSP. Biamp Systems, meanwhile, presented its Agile Networking philosophy for networked digital audio systems, with a particular focus on applications involving the company’s Vocia range.
Mark Flanagan, communications manager for Tannoy, Lab.gruppen and Lake commented: “We were delighted to be able to showcase some of the new VX and VXP product here in Dubai, especially with it being in advance of the scheduled first public demonstration at InfoComm in June. It added extra impact and gravitas to the seminar and really underlined the company’s commitment and high regard for the Middle East market.”
Plans are already underway to hold another seminar at the same venue next year, as well as similar events in major markets across the world.
