The PA/VA system manufacturer has announced the appointment of Edwin Haak as its new managing director.
Haak – who will be based at the company’s HQ in Rotterdam – brings 17 years of experience in the telecom and datacom sectors to Ateïs. His knowledge of the IT market will be a valuable asset in combining IP interactivity and control with established integrated audio networking technologies.
“I’m really thrilled to be working with such a forward thinking team at ATEÏS, which has products that are setting a precedent in the PA/VA field,” said Haak. “Our priority is to set ourselves apart through channel support and education, optimising both areas as our resellers take stock of our flagship IDA8, which begins shipping in the last quarter of 2010. I aim to focus my experience on building a strong channel network in Europe, whilst expanding our market share with product solutions that meet contemporary PA/VA demands.”
