Meyer Sound has extended its low-voltage audio solutions range with three new 48V DC-powered loudspeakers.
Comprising the UPM-XP ultra-compact wide coverage loudspeaker, the Junior-XP ultra-compact Vario loudspeaker, and the UMS-1XP ultra-compact subwoofer, the latest additions are said to increase the options available to low-voltage installations that demand exceptional clarity, higher SPL and powerful bass impact.
The UPM-1XP loudspeaker is the low-voltage version of Meyer Sound's award-winning UPM-1P, and is capable of producing 123dB peak SPL over an operating frequency of 75Hz. The Junior-XP ultra-compact VariO loudspeaker combines low-voltage and self-power with the versatility that comes with the VariO constant directivity horn. Meanwhile the UMS-1XP subwoofer allows a low-voltage system response to an operating frequency range of 25Hz – 160Hz and a peak SPL of 127 dB at 1m.
“Our low-voltage systems are the answer to installations where AC cannot be run to loudspeaker positions yet the low-distortion audio quality and power in Meyer Sound self-powered products are essential,” stated Luke Jenks, Meyer Sound’s product manager for loudspeaker products.
