Tuesday morning of the Home Technology Event saw CEDIA introduce a seminar targeting m&e consultants and contractors. This builds on the success of last year’s conference for the interior design community.
Engineering smart home networks, sponsored by Lutron and BSEE magazine, aimed to serve the m&e community who want to find out how electronic systems can be successfully integrated into residential schemes.
The panel included Ian Trudgeon of thinkingbricks, Dave Robinson of Sensible Heat, Tracy Rushton-Thorpe of BSEE and Guy Singleton of Imagine This.
“We want to demonstrate to you how a smart home partner can add to your m&e practice,” said Trudgeon. “We want CEDIA to be your first port of call when you are considering a smart home project.”
CEDIA’s outreach committee has also introduced Designing Interiors with Technology (Wed, 10:00am), Designing Integrated Future Ready Homes (Wed, 2:00pm) and Wired for Technology (Thurs, 10:00 am).
