The KNX UK Association represents organisations involved in the supply, installation and use of KNX technology. There are now more than 200 KNX product manufacturers worldwide. Visitors to stand G12 of the Home Technology Event can see how system integrators can take responsibility for the whole installation with guaranteed interoperability between KNX certified products.
The KNX platform is recognised as European standard EN 50090 and International standard ISO/IEC 14543. It is now increasingly recognised by CEDIA members and this is helping to ensure that installations of residential AV systems are considered in harmony.
“The compatibility between products using the KNX platform is guaranteed,” explained Mark Redfern, vice president of KNX UK, pictured, left, above with Charlotte Townend and Ben Lewis of KNX UK . “There are no installation issues.”
Visitors to the show can find out more about KNX by attending Thursday’s CPD presentation in the Conference Theatre at 15.00 to 16.00. The seminar will include an introduction to KNX UK and KNX technology together with details on international standards.
“We look forward to welcoming more CEDIA members into the Association as part of its ongoing commitment to forging working relationships with major UK trade associations,” said Redfern.
