Ateis unveils steerable microphone array

08 February 2010

Steerable microphone array product MicArray was just one of the new developments highlighted by Ateïs Europe at last week's ISE. Integrated feedback elimination and the ability to alter the opening angle of the array digitally lead the specification of a product that is due to be made available in April.

"We expect MicArray to appeal to anyone wanting to use a microphone to address groups, such as those in churches or auditoriums," said international sales & marketing manager Albert van der Hout, pictured here with the new device at ISE 2010.

In what was the company's first appearance at ISE, Ateïs also showcased the UAP G2 stackable DSP and the Orbit omni-directional line arrays, as well as highlighting the recent creation of a new office and warehouse premises in the Netherlands, which is designed to provide "an even more efficient sales support and delivery service".
