‘Connect with CEDIA’ – the programme through which new, prospective and existing members can discuss industry issues and find out more about the benefits of CEDIA membership – has been extended to take in a variety of venues across Europe.
Once again, the event will visit Sheffield (22 March), Birmingham (19 April), Bristol (17 May), Newcastle (21 June), Edinburgh (19 July) and London (21 September) in 2012, but will also add Milan (22 March), Paris (26 April), Antwerp (24 May), Manchester (23 August) and Dublin (25 October). All attendees will receive a £55 CEDIA education voucher (maximum of one voucher per company).
The success of the free-to-attend initiative was highlighted during a CEDIA press event hosted by Gary Lewis (pictured left) – a prime mover behind Surrey-based integrator Future Systems who became CEDIA Region 1 chair in October – and Region 2 chair Federico Bausone (right).
Lewis and Bausone also highlighted the record number of entries – in excess of 100 – submitted for this year’s CEDIA Awards, which will take place on 20 April at Hampton Court Palace.
