Last.fm has been added to the list of internet-based streaming audio providers accessible through NuVo Technologies’ Music Port and Music Port Elite content aggregator and streaming devices.

A popular service for music fans, Last.fm assesses a listener’s musical taste through the individual’s song selections – both online and digitally stored on the user’s computer or other devices – and uses that profile to recommend new music from its extensive catalogue.

Visitors to the NuVo stand will see how accessing this service through the four simultaneous source streams of the Music Port components offers customers both additional variety and an interactive way to explore the wider musical world.

NuVo will also reveal its latest in-wall amplifier for the education market, the WA40. Designed to bring convenient amplification to the classroom, the WA40 includes touch-button controls for source selection, power and volume, as well as an upgraded 40-watt amplifier. It also offers the option of two hard-wired rear source inputs and two additional source inputs on the unit’s front for additions to the system.
